An Open Invitation to Sponsor the Preston Beer Festival
St Walburge's has hosted an annual beer Festival for the last 17 years, raising much needed funds for the upkeep and restoration oft his Grade 1 listed building and the use of the Church and Church Hall to deliver a range of events, activities and projects that will benefit the whole community. Every year we contact local traders and businesses to participate in this event by way of sponsorship, many of which have continued their support over the years.
The event is well attended and is advertised in the Lancashire Evening Post, other local media and through our website. Many local businesses pledge support and feel they and the parish community benefit from the high profile the Festival enjoys.
Sponsorship Package
For sponsoring a barrel at £80 you will receive:
- Your business name on a cask of beer or cider
- Your business name in the Festival programme under your sponsored ale
- Your business name or logo on our sponsor's display boards at the festival
- Your business name or logo on our website (www.prestonbeerfestival.co.uk) with a link to your business website
- Entrance for three people on Sponsor's Evening with commemorative Festival glasses, beer vouchers to the value of £15 and also food vouchers
Sponsor & Create Your Own Unique Beer
This year there is the opportunity to sponsor your own beer! Working with Arkwright's Brewery you will create your very own unique beer for the Festival.

Sponsors Evening
Thursday is the Sponsors Evening when judging of the beers takes place attended by a specially selected panel, local press and includes the presentation of a trophy for the winning beer.
